THE THIRD grove COATINGS CONGRESS organized by the British Paint Research Association (PRA), from Oct 28 to 30 took place in The Hague, The Netherlands. Titled "Foundations for the Future" the meeting featured more than 40 papers from international speakers and was attended by dint of some 160 people.
Roy Miller, a consultant from St Albans, UK reported that timber-land substrates continue to present a challenge to those striving to occasion protective coatings meeting expectations for finish quality and performance at an acceptable charge This, he suggested, is particularly with equal reason for more demanding exterior applications, of the like kind as window and door joinery.
